My name is Shirley, and I am a paper hoarder. I buy pretty paper, but I don't have the courage to use it. I'll buy a whole pretty stack, and only use the papers out of it I like least. Sad. Yesterday I tried to break out of my bad habit a bit and got out my EveryDay Blessings paper pack from PaperTray. I used my new cartridge (Straight from the nest) and stampin up top note die to make a few cards. The grass/stems are from the cartridge cut at 2 1/4. For inside and outside, each card sucked up 4 sheets from my pretty 6x6 stack, it was hard, but worth it, with the pop dots and all those layers, they are thick pure paper yummy-ness. The bunny stamp is stampin up, embossed chocolate on chocolate and hand cut. My challenge for all you paper hoarders for the weekend - you know who you are - is to get out some of that paper, take a deep breath - and CUT!

Oh me too!! I have about $500 worth of dcwv stacks...love them, just not sure how to put them all together nicely... but when I figure it out I will be fully stocked!!! LOL
Great card! Love it.
Your title is so cute. I'm like that too and yet I get onto my mom for not wearing a nice nightgown or burning a pretty candle. I say to her enjoy it...you can't take it with you and then I guess I'm a coming out of the closet paper hoarder too. They say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem LOL. Hello...my name is Susan and I'm a paper hoarder :)
That's so funny, I just had a conversation with my husband about this the other day. I am such a paper hoarder too. I look at the pretty papers I have and can't possibly part with them. What if I use them and can't find a replacement?! I agree with Susan. My name is Rebecca and I'm a paper hoarder.
My name is Erin, and I am a paper hoarder too! OMG, it is TERRIBLE! :)
My name is Billie and I am a paper hoarder. I too have a hard time cutting the prettiest paper. Maybe this will give me encouragement.
My name is Maria and I am a paper hoarder. Now that I've admitted it, do I REALLY have to use the pretty paper???? :)

Hi Shirley. My name is Robyn..... ROFL!
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the paper I cannot use and courage to use the ones I can and the wisdom to know the difference.....
I know EXACTLY!!!
I am a paper hoarder also. I have a four foot drawer full of 8 1/2x11 and another full of 12x12 including DCWV. Cut my Graphic 45 paper? Not on your life!
ME too!!!!! I thought I was the only one... we should start a club! I just can't bring myself to use some of my favorite papers. However I have told myself I cannot buy any new ones until I use half my stack... it could take years :) LOL
I'm a paper squirrel. All that paper is just too pretty to use. And I usually buy at least 3 of each!
OMG! I am a PAPER HOARDER as well..lol :D I just love looking at them, and don't have the courage to even take it off the bindings. Anyway, I love your card :) My favorite easter card so far :) Keep up the good work!
Oh golly - me too - paper horders anon. Love your title! Although I just made a couple of 13th birthday cards with some of my favorite paper - deep breath, relax, it was not so difficult! You do really nice creations.
This will be on the 3Birds Blog on Friday! Thank you!
LOL - ain't it the truth? There is one pad in particular that I just can't bear to cut, the papers are so luscious. Silly. I actually have been spending so much time downloading files and working on svgs, that I haven't touched my pretty papers in a week or two! I am going to get them out and make some cards tomorrow! Thanks for the inspiration (and the chuckle!)
Laura
Hahaha! Goodluck to you! I'll be getting some more soon...lol! Stop me, please!!! :D
I had to laugh from some of the posts. I thought I was alone all these years. I have been a paper hoarder since I was a little girl. I couldn't bare to use those cute notepads etc. And now, I am 45 paper hoarder not a scrapbooker like I had hoped. GRRR. I wish everyone luck in the recovery process of Paper Hoarding.
