Can you see me? (Scrappage)
Today I have a quick LO to share, this is my son right after I found camo shoes (he already had camo shorts, a shirt and a hat so he was so happy to finish with these shoes). He put everything on and quickly went to the garden and yelled "Mom, can you see me?). No dear, your totally hidden.
This is part of my "use it up or toss it out kick". I have shifted these photos around on my craft counter long enough. I also used up the remains of a scrap kit doing this, and I managed to have a few pieces left over I made into thank you cards. The font is honey script cut with my silhouette.
We are now working on using up a bit of brightly colored vinyl and some canvas which I will post later in the week. Have a great day!

Pinwheels in mini sand buckets
Today I dragged out some of the items on the high on the "use it, or get rid of it" list - these little buckets. They have been moved around my craft room too many times. Since I'm low on Summer decor around the house, I decided to turn them into little buckets with pinwheels. I didn't want real sand in the house (it would only be a matter of hours before kids, cat or something knocked it over) so instead I filled the bottom with part of a Styrofoam ball (also on the get rid of or use list), then cut a two inch circle of sandpaper to hot glue over the top. I stuck the sticks right through the sandpaper and into the Styrofoam so they will stay put. Thanks for looking!

LOVE and SMILES Scrapbook page and chevron border svg png
Yesterday I was supposed to do homework and housework and yardwork....but instead I did a scrap page! I took these photos as part of the OH SHOOT class at Jessica Sprague. If you have a DSLR camara and don't know how to use all those settings, I highly recommend that class. I had a great point and shoot, but dropped it/broke it, bought another, dropped it off the side of the boat, then bought a less expensive one and hated the photos - so I really haven't had many photos to scrapbook. Last year I bought a Canon Rebel but I just haven't been able to figure it out (well, that and I'm a clutz so I'm afrade to take it outside). I just took that class, so armed with knowledge of how to use it, a good camera strap and a super cute camera bag I got for Mothers Day, I think I'm ready to get out and take some scrap worthy photos. The papers are Echo Park and the 12 inch chevron border is todays freebie (svg or png). Thanks for looking!

Painted Dresser, Dandelion vinyl on the wall, and a free border flourish svg
This is my mothers dresser she has had since she was little and she had decided it was time to get rid of it. I couldn't bare to let it go, but I didn't like the color and it was badly scratched from all the years of use. So I decided to paint it and put it in my dining room to hold candles, table linens, etc. The handles have 2 inch holes and as much as I wanted to replace them, I couldn't find any with 2 inch (and I really didn't want to fill) so I painted them the slate gray and thought I'd put vinyl around the handles. Well, I made a few swirls in inkscape, but I didn't like the vinyl around the handles, so that leads to today's freebie svg.

I think they will still be great for scrapping or on a card. Next I thought maybe a large image - like a dandelion blowing would look nice. Tried it, didn't like it, but not wanting to waist a cut image (its cut at 20 inches tall so it was a good chunk of vinyl), I put it on the wall:
So for now I think I will leave the dresser plain and keep looking for some older 2 inch handles. Thanks for looking.
