Rolling Rose SVG and Tutorial

My mother got me a flip for Christmas so I could do videos for my blog. Here it is 6 months later and I'm still not sure how to do it. I thought it was time to give it a try though, so here is my first attempt at a video tutorial. This is to make those cute little rolling roses, similar to the sizzix one, although I spaced my curves a bit different so the center drops in. The SVG will be down below if its not already. If you can't see the video, please check back, I'm electronically challenged and this might take a few tries to work out.....

Great Tutorial - only problem that I am having is that it doesn't cut in one piece but in three. Otherwise it's a great idea. Thanks

There is no arrow in the middle. There are other sites with videos which I cannot access either. Any suggestions? Is there something that is blocking it? I want to learn to make these roses....I love them!

Thanks for the SVG! I have a die for this, but love a SVG for those times when you want to change the scale or mass produce! Thanks!

Smriti said...

Thanks for the video as well as the svg! However like a few of the others when I cut it it doesn't cut it one piece - it draws a line straight to the center resulting in 3 pieces :( Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I see that many people have had success in making it so clearly there's something wrong in my setup but I can't figure out what :(

Your flowers are beautiful and your tutorial is excellent. I tried to download the .svg file for the rolling rose and it says it's set to private.

Am I doing something wrong? I would really like to make some of these.

Thanks!
Wendy
